I've played through the game with one starter, and really really enjoyed it, and was wondering if there were any ways to set up multiple files. I've looked around the boards but saw nothing about this, apologies if it has been asked before.

I did this for my brother so he could play too, unfortunately, it takes up some time. What I did was copy all the files of the game and paste them in a different folder, and then when I ran the copy's .exe, it would run the save file that you left in there. The only issue is, since you've already played the game, you'd have to re-download it, not copy it. The other thing you could do is, yet again, re-download, then erase everything you re-downloaded except the save file, then put that blank file in a folder. When you want to switch save files, just swap the places of your two save files. The only issue with that is, if the new save is named anything else, the .exe won't know what to reference, and will ask that you made a save file. Sorry if that sounds too complicated, I can water it down if you want me to.

Hm. I tried the second option, moving the original save file to another folder, and putting a newly downloaded one into the same spot. The game, when launched, still reverts to my old save, however. Any idea what the problem might be? I'm going to try putting the first file on a harddrive and see if that helps next. And also, thank you very much for your reply, I really appreciate it.

Weird. Still no difference.
EDIT: NVM I FOUND OUT THE ISSUE IM A TOOL
EDIT 2: okay, so the problem now is that my saved data saves to another location, my saved games folder. However, the folder for this game doesn't exist, as I havent launched/saved the game yet. So i have no file to copy.

Hmm... the only way to do that is to figure out how to alter the save directory. That might actually take some coding There's that, or like I said before, you can re-download the game entirely and it will not reference your old save. That's what I did with my little brother. However, it'll take up space. Hopefully, someone else has a better solution.

That doesn't work either, probably because of the way the game saves to another folder, as well. However, I did try move the old save file I have to my game folder, and sure enough, it shows I have no save data. So theoretically I could probably store my save data in other locations and just switch them to make multiple games. So I'm gonna try backing my data up on a hardrive and try that.
EDIT: It works!
