not sure, been playing with keyboard
try right-clicking on the game window and viewing properties and controls

Pretty sure the game doesn't natively support controllers, but there are a number of third-party apps floating around the interblags (don't ask me their names, I don't know, I just know that people use them) than can assist you in mapping a controller to match with the various keys necessary to operate the game.

It works wit ds4windows and a ps4 controller. The comands have to be put in manually.
