Hi guys!

Here are some news about Pokémon Solar Light & Lunar Dark!

• With the announcement of Pokémon Sun & Moon (Have we inspired them? haha!) to be released at the end of the year, I'm hoping we can get our game done before. There will be no exact release date now, but as I said, We hope we can finish it for the release of Sun & Moon.
• Almost all the outdoor Maps are done (except Rikoto League Village)
• Zerobreaker and I are revising ALL Fakemon on the WIKI, there are still a few to do, but the end is in sight!
• Watertrainer is respriting most of the Fakemon, I don't know exactly how far he is, but I have seen some new sprites, and they look awesome!
• Their will be some story/event changes etc.
• We still in need of some helpers, especially for dex entries, quest ideas, npc and trainer speeches and that stuff, we would be really happy to find some people for this!
• With the new version of essentials, and the possibility of implementing the Elite Battle System, it seems that is really unsure that you can use your old save files for the final version, I'm sorry, but with all the changes, it will be a complete new experience to start again in Soltree Town!

I'm about 70% done with re-spriting almost ALL of the fakemon, the backsprites look hell-of-a-lot better than they do now, that's for sure.

Here's an example and little spoiler to how the new sprites look so here's Cheepip and Zuppy



Some of the fakemon have new typing and new names as well but only a few (Dovheart is now Fairy/Flying)

I've also taken out some Fakemon (ones I feel don't fit or no one ever uses) and replaced them with new, better fakemon (which you will have to see for yourself and trust me, are way cool!)

I would like to help out with quest and Npc Speeches just tell witch town or city and I have some on the former on this site

Yay, great news! I think a lot of trainers or NPCs can tell more about the environments to make it more interesting, indeed. Regarding the last bullet, that is totally not a problem to me. It's great to start things anew once in a while, right?

I'm always so amazed by your redesigns! I never liked Zuppy up to now (by its looks, I mean), but I guess I cannot stick to that opinion anymore... Almost all first evolutions look so adorable in this game! I'm curious about the backsprites though! I only hope I don't miss one of the few Pokémon that have been taken out...

My goodness, these are so sweet! You make me want to keep a Cheepip forever this way! I must say I was pretty happy with the backsprites up to now, even though they just looked like the reverse of the frontsprite (e.g. Pixwee, Pixilily, Doveheart), but this is really next-level spriting! To me, they really surpass most Pokémon of Gen 5 and onwards by now... I'm really amazed at your sprites, and I cannot wait to see the other updates!

Let me know wich pokémon need dex entries. It always fun to come up with those. And those sprites are looking really neat wt.

There is a list on the wiki which tells you the Pokemon without a Pokédex entry:

Sorry my friend told me about it today saying that water-trainer has stopped 2 days ago, glad to see he is back tho his art is amazing, sorry for the waste of your time,

I am SO EXCITED! The new sprites look amazing and I am most certain the final release is gonna be worth the wait.
I don't mind starting over again, I havent played in a while so will be fun to play from the start.
Gonna be thinking up a lot of quest ideas now haha!

Not to complain, but i feel like this could harm some users who try to use Pokemon no one would use, like those people who use like Ferrothorn or Vanilluxe or Fearow or Sudowoodo in-game.

Ah in my play through i got the the battle bridge and lost to my rival Rodney. I can't fight him again it doesn't do anything.

There are only two lines taken out, it's the Fibbit line and the Mosiac line. Then there are two lines which are not included in Demo 5 yet, it's the Snowfaye line and the Genechill line.

So as you stated, we'll probably have to start the journey over? It kinda feels bad, with all the training we've probably done already with this set of pokemon/fakemon.
