How To Upload Your Save-File (17,778 views)

Here is a little instruction how you can upload your savefile, so we can solve a problem if you stuck anyhwere:

1. Find your savefile:
Go in the folder of "Pokemon Solar Light & Lunar Dark" and search for this data:



It could be, that your PC is saving your game file in an extra folder. The location should be named like this:



2. Upload your savefile:
Go to a website where you can upload data.
for example:
www.mediafire.com/
www.file-upload.net/
www.dropbox.com/

or what else.


3. Send me the link to your uploaded file:
Last step is sending me a message with the link to the download site of your savefile. I will download it and see if I'm able to fix the problem.
This can take some time, I have some other things to do in my life, and I'm living in germany, maybe it's night here when it's day in your homecountry ;-)

one question though - I'm used to going to C:-> Users -> [My Account] -> Saved Games -> Pokemon Solar Light_Lunar Dark Demo [version] -> Game.rxdata

did you move where it saves to be in the install folder? The folder path specified above ONLY has the one file, the save data, it does not have the game.exe or anything else

Ah, that is what i meant. Can you make a Screenshot of the folder and file, so can add it to the main post?

I still do not understand xD ... does your version of the game work differently than everyone else's ?? or... do you put the install folder inside that location xD ??

Yes, i have my savefiles for all games in every game folder, but i still work with windows xp, so maybe this is a windows 7/8 thing.

So, I came across a strange glitch, I've beaten the current demo, saved the game and decided to start a second save file due to it being available. The feature worked fine...until the game decided to save over the first file for some reason. So I'm hoping if you could be able to restore the file before the point that this has happened as I really don't want to play though the game again just to get back up that point. If you can't then oh well, it'll be the long journey for me but I'll understand.

I can't restore your file. You saved over the first one, so the progess is gone, sorry.
We know that the multiple savefile thing is a bit buggy, we hope we can fix that for the last version.
You should back up your savefiles when you want to create a new one.

Why you guys always uploading the wrong file? In the first posts, it's clearly to see that I need the "Game.rxdata". Not the Game.rgssad or something else.
How you get the savefile is also explained in the first post...
