Portable Version of the game (6,384 views)

Could you turn this game into a rom for the GBA emulator or make a version for like the android for example? Its just dat I woulrd like to play this game on another kind of "plattaform" and have it in my pocket during the day, either where I am out at college or somewhere else. An android version would really kick some ass, but a rom for the emulator would come down good as hell as well. Just an ideia, but would really love it. <3

What's the problem? It's not like what you guys are doing is legal anyways, you're borrowing someone else's series to make your own game, so if we go through that way shouldn't you also ask for copyright author rights? For me what you are doing is no different from a hacked rom, its just more original. I think you should leave illegal and piracy means out of the way.

No, you're wrong, as long as it is a non-profit game, there is no problems with using the content from the games. It is considered the same as fan art. They would need to get copyright rights if they were to sell it (and obvi Nintendo would say no) so as long as it is free it is still completely legal. Roms ARE the content which IS copyrighted so they are illegal, though I do not think emulators or roms themselves are illegal if they do not contain copyrighted content... not too sure on that one tho. Makes no difference to me though, as I've said before, I see no reason you'd want to have a portable version since you wouldn't have a keyboard to play with, meaning the game would not be playable anyway...

If the game had a rom you could put it on the emulator for android, for example, and if it was an app there would be no problem at all.

Rom Hacking and Rpg Maker XP are totally different things. You can't turn your rpg maker game into a rom with only using "some programs".
I don't know much about rom hacking, but you have to use an existing rom and use programs to map or change the encounters etc.
In Rpg maker the whole game is made with the script language "Ruby" and the standart commands from rpg maker (switches, variables, move routes, etc.)
There won't be a rom hack version of this game ever.

Don't take me wrong everyone wants that for many reasons(pc dosen't work,is easier on phones etc,) And I would suggest same thing and DELETE the post after judt because is actually a bad idea. They don't want to make it ilegal or a profit game,is not just about funds,"can you do it?" etc. in special roms,is hard enoungh that Nintendo and Gamefreaks waste their time banning,take down or even make peopels to pay for fan-games and roms instead of makeing a good game like this or even better so.. They should do what they were doing ,that's why you like this game because they made it that way,even if they had a delay,some probllems(like peopels who stole sprites) or maybe not the best game but is on top 5 with a demo,Top 5 not 10 and that's a thing.
