When i,m done getting a pokemon egg from rex after he finishes talking the game suddenly crashes ! Could you please help ? (this is my first thread , for i never really wrote on a blog before ,sorry)

Hey I think I'm having the same problem. I talk to Rex, choose an egg, and then he looks around, turns back to me and everything freezes. Is this what happened to you? Anyone have a solution?

So I've found a solution for my issue at least. I still had my guppish egg in my party, I ran around to hatch it and then walked out to talk to rex. I had no problem this time.

Are you guys sure you played the newest version 5.0.2?
I normally fixed this bug for this version. It can't be that is has to do with another egg. I think you talked at the first time from below to Rex after you made room in your party, and the second time you talked from left,right or above?

I am playing on 5.0.2, even redownloaded to make sure, although I carried my save data across from an earlier version. For me the issue happened right after I walked out of the castle, Rex approached me, gave me a choice and when I chose, an exclamation mark appeared over him and he looked around, not even asking me to make room in my party. After I hatched guppish, I tried again, and it worked with no problems. That time he told me I had no room, so I went to the PC and deposited a poke, and got my egg no problem.

I can confirm this bug still exists in 5.0.2, talking to Rex after leaving the castle while still having an unhatched egg in your party results in a freeze.
Hatching the egg first does indeed solve the issue.
