So, I have been riding my bike around for a while now and the egg hasn't hatched yet. Does the bike count as steps in this game? Or does the egg just take FOREVER to hatch?

I've hatched a few using bikes so I know it counts. It can take a long time for some of them to hatch. The only advice I can give is to also have a Pokemon with flame body or magma armor on the team as well and to choose a very long stretch of empty path to reduce the hatch times. |

Not sure if this was changed but mine seemed to hatch faster on foot. IF the bike DID help, this took me easily 20 minutes of running the left path up and down of the desert city. Gad its done!!
