Pupool are known to be very popular with young trainers, however, they usually end up being released as they are poorly behaved. Wild Pooldog are quite violent, they must be strictly trained to even be of use in a battle.

Try to make them a bit longer, they should sound like the official pokemon entries.

That's a whole new region without any real Pokemon, so there shouldn't be comparisions with them.

Here are some Revisions of the dex entries.
Pinkmee: These Pokemon are found together in schools, but are easily scared off due to their shy nature. (or) When warm undersea currents flow through the area, Pinkmee can be seen riding along with it.
Valure: These Pokemon are a rare sight to behold. Their scales are treasured due to their nearly infinite uses in medicine. (or) Using it's feminine charms, it can lure foes into a false sense of security before striking.
Beutifin: Sailors lost at sea have told stories of seeing Beutifin, and shortly after, their way home. (or) Even though it is gentile in nature, Beutifin is still one of the most powerful pokemon to roam the Rikoto seas.
Mamon: These Pokemon have survived for centuries. Once thought extinct, they reappeared in Rikoto.
Mamodon: It's said that thousands of years ago Mamodon roamed ancient Rikoto plains as the kings of the arctic.
Snowl: Since their wings aren't fully developed, these Pokemon create nests for themselves within snowbanks.
Hootic: In olden times, neighboring villages would use Hootic to send messages to one another when blizzards got too harsh.
Tapire: It's body is small in size, but within, it stores enough firepower to topple a building with a single snort of it's nose.
Tapiblaze: The red spots on Tapiblaze's back are what fuel's its power. When they start brightly glowing, it's best to run.

Great, we will use them PS: Just be sure Pokémon is always written with a é ;-)

Polarpow: Polarpow have some of the most keen maternal instincts of any Pokémon, said to be able to sense if their offspring are in danger even long after they have left its care. They have a mysterious rivalry with Magrizzly.
And, not sure if it needs a revision, but I'll throw it out there for the heck of it: Magrizzly: Magrizzly are some of the fiercest paternal guardians of any Pokémon, known to burn down entire forests just to protect their offspring from harm. They present extreme hostility towards Polarpow, despite inhabiting completely different climates.

Sorry for double-post, but figured I'd write up a few more.
Finflix: Finflix are a recently discovered species once thought to have been a hoax. They are still being researched and are very rare. Finndra: Many coastal towns report sightings of Finndra in their local waters to attract tourists and Pokémon trainers alike, these reports rarely hold true however. Hydrogon: These mighty Pokemon are the source of many myths from sailors and fishermen, legends tell of them hoarding sunken treasure in undersea caverns.
The line gives me a Nessie/Sea Serpent vibe, so kind of based the entries off that stuff. Hope you like them!

Hey, I like your entries, I've added them to the wiki already ;-) Are you interested in doing some more? PS: The Polarpow and Magrizzly entries are great too, just to long. I have to skip the rivalry thing. Be sure your entries are not longer than 150 characters.

Skreech:
"As Skreech have not fully developed their vocal chords, their cries often break and are less harmful to human ears than those of their elders."
Banshreek:
"A Banshreek can reach volumes of over 300 decibels with its horrifying shrieks. They often leave those exposed to their screams with perpetual nightmares..."
Banscream:
"Legends tell that a single shriek from a Banscream could reach to people over 10km away. However, nobody has ever heard one and lived to tell the tale."
Eelect:
"An Eelect is known to conduct electricity extremely well. When circuits break, some electricians use Eelect scales to make up for the broken wires."
Surfide:
"Even though they constantly carry around a surfboard-like object, Surfide are rather poor surfers. They only evolve when they have learned how to surf like a human."
Tidude:
"Tidude like to show off their incredible surfing skills by finding the biggest waves to surf. They are known to crash surfing competitions simply to best even the most elite surfers."

I'll try a few:
Palmo: Palmo are often mistaken for small trees, but upon closer inspection, travellers often end up surprised to see them looking back.
Cocorocko: This unique Pokémon may appear to bear fruit, but those attempting to taste some end up chipping teeth on rocks.
Chamelec: This Pokémon can camouflage to blend in with it's surroundings, but if it's discovered, it lets out a powerful electric shock that leaves predators stunned.
Chamelectro: Chamelectro prey on Bugray using by sitting on trees and camaflaging. If their prey comes near, they snatch it from the air and give it a quick shock.

Sluggah: Even though it's very slow when moving, Sluggah rarely stops to eat or drink. The slime coating it's body allows it to survive in the hottest of environments.
Mossnail: When evolving, Mossnail develops a diamond-hard rocky shell, which is strong enough to endure hostile attacks and weather.
