crashes at startup (1,177 views)

when i try to open the game it opens the program, which has a black screen, for about 2 seconds and then crashes. there is no error code when this happens. i have tried running as admin and reinstalling

im also having this problem with other rgss player games, if thats relevant

Try copy and pasting the contents of the folder to a new one. Microsoft updated some stuff that screwed over rpg maker games.
