I beat the dragon type leader and im now at sailport city and since i got the mega ring i went into the battle with my starter and holding its mega stone but the mega evolution thing is not appearing

yeah i can´t mega evolve my starter too eventho i got both the mega stone and the bracelett the mega evo sign dose not come up in battle so u can mega evolve those pokemons that have a mega in the game
