This isn't urgent or anything but I selected a male character in the selection screen, but when I throw a pokemon out in battle it gives me a female sprite. Is this a known problem? Any fixes, or should I just restart?

I've just downloaded and started playing the game, and I'm having this issue too. It's a little annoying, but I've yet to find a way to fix it.
