Episode 16: A Fight For A Little Tyke!
It’s a bright and sunny day and the group are at a picnic stop by a lake with all their pokemon out of their pokeballs.
“Here you go,” says Brock as he hands down a bowl of Pokemon food to Pruddy and Purrlit,
“Crestlight City is just over that hill” Ella says, “Yeah and my next badge is there too!” Ash says,”Rmrmmmrmrm” Cole mumbles as he stuffs his face with the delicious food that Brock has laid out on the picnic table, “Ah…what was that Cole?” Ash says, Cole swallows is food in a big gulp, “I said, and that’s where my next gym medal is”,
“Haha” Ella laughs, “Looks like we have big things coming up in Crestlight City” she says,
As the group talk and eat they watch over at the lake and see many water Pokemon playing in the water, Goldeen and Seaking jumping in and out of the water, Azurill and Marill splashing around, Shellos blowing bubbles into the air and a group of Psyduck floating on the surface in the sun, “Wow look at all those Pokemon playing” Ella says as Cole still stuffs his face with food, he picks up a rice ball with some chops sticks and goes to put it in his mouth when he drops it onto the table, the rice ball bounces off the table and onto the ground, “Cole stop eating like a pig” Ella says, Cole looks around frantically for his riceball when he turns around to see a Wooper eating it, “Hey that was my riceball!” he shouts at the Wooper, Wooper swallows the riceball and smiles and Cole dives at it, the Wooper jumps into the air and Cole hits the ground and Wooper jumps into his head and runs up to the table, Ash, Ella and Brock look at the Wooper, “I think it wants some more food” Ash says, Brock smiles and puts down a tray of Pokemon food for it “there you go Wooper” he says patting it on the head, “Looks like Cole isn’t the only one with an appetite” Brock says as Cole sits on the ground rubbing his head “It stole my riceball” he says, Ella looks at him, “Cole it was just a riceball, there’s plenty more” she says.
Meanwhile Team Rocket are hiding in the bushes eating an apple each watching through the bush at all the water pokemon playing in the water and the group eating, “Look at all those pokemon” James says, chewing on his apple
“They’re just there for the pickin’” says Meowth, “We should catch them and give them to the boss”,
“Give them to the boss, I want them for myself to use in the contests” Jesse says as Wobbuffet eats an apple behind her,
Jesse looks over to the group and sees the Wooper, Jesse jumps up with hearts in her eyes “Ohhhhh…that Wooper is so cute!” she says,
“When did the twerps get a Wooper?” James says, “They didn’t, it’s a wild one” says Meowth, and Jesse interrupts, “Then I can catch it”, she says, “and the twerps can’t say we stole it if I caught it!”
The group are packing up the picnic gear, while the Pokemon play, Lavenseed is bouncing on Pruddy’s tail, Pikachu and Purrlit run around, Moonky is swinging around on Sudowoodo’s arm by its tail, Paracaw is flying around and Toron is rough housing with Herovor, Wooper thanks the group for the food and hops away, just as its about to hop back into the water, Team Rocket pop out of the bushes, “Wooper your mine!” Jesse says with fire in her eyes, she pulls out a pokeball and throws it at it, the pokeball hits Wooper and bounces off it sucking it inside it with a flash of red light, the ball falls to the ground and rocks back and forth, Jesse clutches her fist in the air awaiting her capture, the ball stops moving…Jesse grins, but then the Pokeball bursts open, she didn’t catch the Wooper, “WHAT!” she shouts, “Get inside that Pokeball!” she shouts at Wooper, Wooper gets scared and runs back towards the group.
Cole is picking up the last of the pokemon food trays while Ash, Brock and Ella clear the picnic table, Cole looks up to see Wooper running towards him with Jesse close behind, Wooper reaches Cole and hides behind his legs, “Wooper?” Cole says, and Jesse stops with a skid, “Move out of the way twerp, that Wooper is mine!” she says, Cole looks at Wooper and sees its scared face, “Wooper is scared of you, it doesn’t want to go with you” Cole says,
Ash, Brock and Ella run over to where Cole and Jesse are, “What’s going on?” Ash says,
“She’s trying to catch Wooper, but Wooper doesn’t want to go with her” Cole says, James and Meowth arrive, “If I want to catch that Wooper I will!” Jesse shouts at Cole, “So move out of my way!” Cole looks at Wooper again and sees that it’s terrified of her, “No way!” Cole shouts back, “fine, if you’re gonna be like that, give me a battle” Jesse says,
“A battle, what for?” Cole says, “If I win I get to catch the Wooper, and if you win I’ll let it go” she says, James and Meowth thinks Jesse has gone crazy and pulls her away, “What are you doing!” Meowth shouts at her, “what do you mean what am I doing” she says, “You can’t battle that twerp” James says, “I’m going to win, I’ve been a trainer a lot longer than he has” she says, “don’t worry, my Pokemon are so much stronger than his” she says,
“So how about it” she says, “do it Cole, you can beat her” Ella says, Cole looks at Wooper again, “fine…I’ll battle you” he says,
Cole and Jesse stand opposite each other, and Brock stands and referees, “this will be a battle for Wooper, Cole will face Jesse, and they will both use 2 pokemon each” he says,
Cole clutches a pokeball, and Jesse does the same, Cole throws the pokeball out, “Purrlit go!” he says, Purrlit comes out of the pokeball in a big flash of light, Purrlit stands its ground ready to fight, Jesse throws her Pokeball “Yanmega go!” she says and in a flash of white light, Yanmega comes buzzing out of the ball, “Lets go!” Cole says, “Purrlit Ember now!” Cole shouts out, Purrlit releases a barrage of orange glowing balls at Yanmega,
“Yanmega dodge it!” Jesse shouts out, Yanmega dodges all of the embers, “Yanmega use Steel Wing!” she shouts, Yanmega’s wings start glowing and it swoops down onto Purrlit hitting it directly, Purrlit goes flying into the air and to the ground, “Purrlit no, please get up!” Cole says, Purrlit gets up and is ready to fight again “good work Purrlit no lets try a Quick attack!” Cole shouts, Purrlit starts running up and charges at Yanmega, Yanmega dodges again “Purrlit quick ember!” Cole says, Purrlit quickly turns around and fires off another ember attack at Yanmega, this time it hits, “Good hit Purrlit, Yanmega falls to the ground, “Get up Yanmega!” Jesse shouts, Yanmega struggles to get up, “Quick Purrlit, Iron tail!” Purrlit runs up and swings its glowing tail at Yanmega hitting it again, Yanmega goes flying through the air and falls to the ground fainted, “Yanmega!” Jesse shouts, “Purrlit wins” Brock says, Jesse pulls out the pokeball and returns Yanmega back into its ball, “Argh” Jesse mumbles, Purrlit runs up to Cole and they hug “that was awesome Purrlit” Cole says to it, “Enough with the lovey dovey” Jesse says, she pulls out another Pokeball and throws it out, “Seviper go!” she says and Seviper emerges from the pokeball, “Ready Purrlit” Cole says to Purrlit and it meows, “Seviper lets finish this fast!” Jesse says, “Poison tail now!”
Seviper slithers up and swings it’s glowing purple tail at Purrlit, Purrlit dodges the attack and Seviper tail swings and strike the ground breaking it up, “Whoa that was a strong Poison tail” Ash says, “Purrlit use quick attack!” Cole says, Purrlit sprints up and goes to tackle Seviper, “Seviper wrap!” Jesse says, Seviper swings it’s tail again and grabs onto Purrlit before Purrlit can hit it, Seviper wraps around Purrlit and starts squeezing it, “Purrlit!” Cole shouts in worry, “Purrlit use ember!” Purrlit shoots off a weak ember attack at Seviper, Seviper lets go and Purrlit falls to the ground, and it struggles to get up, “Now Seviper Poison tail!” Jesse calls out, Seviper swings its glowing purple tail and strikes Purrlit, “Purrlit no!” Cole shouts, and Purrlit falls to the ground fainted, “Seviper wins” Brock says, “Purrlit return” Cole says as the pokeball sucks Purrlit back into it, Cole looks at the ball, “Thank you Purrlit, you did so good” he says, he tucks the pokeball back onto his belt, he grabs another one, “This is it” he says, as Seviper and Jesse await, “Toron lets go!” he throws the pokeball and Toron comes out of the pokeball and lands on the ground, “Lets go Toron, Rollout now!” Cole shouts, Toron rolls up and charges at Seviper, “Seviper move!” Jesse shouts, Seviper uses it’s flexibility to dodge to Rollout, “Poison tail!” Jesse shouts, Seviper swings its tail at Toron and Toron get hit, sending it flying backwards at the ground, Toron gets up, “Argh…” Cole mumbles,
“Seviper bite!” Jesse calls out, Seviper comes charging at Toron, “Toron use Solid Skin!” Cole shouts out, Toron’s skin shines like a coat of glass, and Seviper’s bite attack fails as it hits, “Now Toron use Rollout!” Toron runs up and rolls at Seviper hitting it, Seviper falls to the ground, and it struggles to get up, “Toron lets finish this battle, use Head Butt” Cole says, Toron’s rock on its head starts glowing and it charges at Seviper hitting it with its head butt, “Seviper no!” Jesse shouts out, Seviper falls to the ground and faints, “Seviper is out, Cole and Toron are the winners!” Brock says with joy, James and Meowth sigh, “This always happens to us” James says, Jesse gets mad, and returns Seviper back into its pokeball,
“You got lucky twerp” she says, Cole holds Toron, “It wasn’t luck, it was strength” he says, this fuels Jesses anger, “You’re not stronger than me!” she says, and she runs up and grabs Wooper, and runs away with it, “Wait for us!” James shouts, Meowth and James run after her, “Hey leave Wooper alone!” Ella shouts, Cole looks at Toron, and it nods, Toron runs up and uses roll out and chases Team Rocket and knocks them over like tenpin bowls, Wooper falls to the ground, Jesse, James and Meowth are all tangled up as Toron walks over to Wooper to see if its okay, and the group coming run up, Wooper and Toron run up to the group, Team Rocket get up and go to attack, “Pikachu thunder” Ash says, Pikachu jumps off his shoulder and on to the ground and gets ready to zap them when Wooper steps in Wooper shoots off a water gun attack at them and Pikachu zaps them with a thunder attack, Team Rocket are sent blasting off,
“I was so close to catching to Wooper” Jesse says, and Wobbuffet pops out of it’s pokeball,
“Instead of a little blue Pokemon I have to put up with this blub blob” she says, “We’re blasting off again!”
After everything has settled down, the group are ready to leave
“There you go Wooper, they won’t be back” Ash says, Wooper smiles and jumps into the water “Bye Wooper” the group say,
The group start walking when Wooper pops out of the water in front of them, “Wooper…your back” Ella says, Wooper looks at Cole, and Cole looks back, “What?” Cole says,
“I think Wooper wants to go with you Cole” Brock says, Cole looks back at Wooper, “Do you want to go with me?” he says, Wooper smile at him and nods, Cole bends down, “are you sure?” he says, and Wooper smile again, Cole smiles back and pulls out a pokeball and enlarges it, he touches Wooper on the head with the Pokeball, and it sucks it inside, the ball rocks back and forth in Coles hand and stops, “I caught Wooper” he says standing up,
“Good one Cole” Ash says, “And just in time” Ella says,
“What do you mean just in time?” Cole asks,
“Well, you need at least 3 pokemon for a gym battle, and now you have 3” she says,
“Wow, that’s true, I guess meeting Wooper was fate” Ash says,
“Either way I’m gonna win my next gym battle for sure now” Cole says as he looks at the Pokeball that now contains his newly caught Wooper.
