(A new thing for the stories is a title and pics of the groups teams, they will change as they catch and evolve pokemon, also it will have a pic of the main Pokemon in the story)
Episode 21: Petro-Voltage!
The group have finally reached Thundrome Pass on a not so sunny and clear day.
“So this is Thundrome Pass” Ella says, looking towards a rocky mountainous place,
“Are you sure this is a short cut?” Cole says with his shoulders hanging low,
“Yes I’m sure it is, either we go around Thundrome pass which would take a lot longer if we don’t go through it” Brock says
“Yeah but its just so much hiking!” Cole moans, “Cole stop moaning, we’ll be in Rustbolt City in no time” Ella says to Cole.
The group start making their way up the dirt track with Cole stumbling behind.
Meanwhile Team Rocket are in their air balloon going over Thundrome Pass, with Lophug on top of Jesse’s head, and Wobbuffet looking at it with an angry face, “I don’t see the twerps anywhere” James says holding his hand above his eyes searching below, “Who cares where they are, we’ll eventually find them” Jesse says smiling, “huh” James and Meowth say, “Lets just relax and feel the cool breeze on this beautiful day” she says, “What’s got into you?” Meowth says,
“Well Lophug has been using Charm on me and it’s making me all happy and calm” she says as Lophug hugs her head, “Oh, well its weird, you being all happy” James says, “Well get use to it!” she says.
Back to the group, they are walking along the track when they see a bolt of electricity from up ahead, “What was that?” Ella says, “It looked like an Electric attack” Ash says, “Lets check it out”,
The group all run up ahead to see what’s going on, they come across a girl with blond pigtailed hair having a battle using a Pachirisu, against a small bluish grey pokemon, “What’s that Pokemon?” Ash says pulling out his Pokedex,
“Terraz, the Zap Pokemon, Terraz absorbs electricity in its wings when flying, it also releases it when it attacks” the Pokedex says.
“So that’s a Terraz” Ash says,
“Pachirisu use Quick Attack!” the blond girl says, Pachirisu uses quick attack and tackles Terraz, the Terraz gets knocked to the ground, “Now Pachirisu use Discharge!” the girl says, Pachirisu changes up and releases a blast of blue lighting at Terraz, Terraz gets hit and falls to the ground, the girl pulls out a Pokeball and enlarges it, “Pokeball go!” she says throwing the pokeball, the Pokeball hits Terraz and sucks it inside, the ball falls to the ground and rocks back and forth back and forth and stops, the girl has caught the Terraz, she walks over and picks up the pokeball, and the Pachirisu jumps onto her shoulder, “good battle Pachirisu” she says to it as is smiles, the group start clapping, “Huh” the girl says turning around to see the group applauding her, “Ah…thanks” she says smiling,
Brock jumps over to her and grabs her hands and he has hearts in his eyes, “You caught that Terraz like you caught my heart” he says, “Ah…what?” she says confused, Moonky emerges from its pokeball and jumps onto Brocks face causing him to fall to the ground, Ash, Cole and Ella all smile, “Sorry, Brock has a habit of doing that” Ash says, Ash, Cole and Ella introduce themselves, “Hi, I’m Electra” she says, she sees Pikachu on the ground and bends down to talk to it, “Wow Ash, your Pikachu looks really strong” she says, “Thanks, Pikachu and I have been together for a long time now” he says, “I would love to battle you and Pikachu” she says, “A battle, sure!” Ash says, “Okay then” Electra says,
“How about a 1 on 1 battle” Ash says, “Okay!”
Ash and Electra get ready to battle, Ash using Pikachu and Electra using Pachirisu, “Lets go Pikachu Iron Tail!” Ash shouts out, Pikachu charges at Pachirisu with its tail glowing and swings at Pachirisu, “Dodge it Pachirisu” Electra says and Pachirisu dodges the attack, “Okay Pachirisu…” Electra says, she looks into the sky and notices that the clouds have turned grey, “What’s wrong” Ella says,
“Sorry Ash we’re gonna have to stop this battle” she says, “Why?” Ash asks,
“Cause there is going to be a big storm any minute” she says, the group look around and see the grey clouds, “Wow the weather changed fast” Cole says, just then it starts raining, heavily, “Lets find some shelter” Electra says, the all look around and Brock notices a cave, “Over there, there’s a cave” he says, the group all run over to the cave and go inside, “That storm came out of nowhere” Ash says,
“Yes, that’s what Thundrome Pass is famous for, there are electric storms here all the time” Electra says, “Why?” the group wonder, “Well its said that there is a legendary pokemon somewhere in Thundrome Pass that is connected to the Earth’s Electromagnetic field” Electra says, “and is apparently why there are so many electric storms here”
“Wow” the group say, “I wonder if we will get too see this legendary Pokemon while on Thundrome Pass” Cole says, “That would be so cool”
Ella shivers, “It’s getting cold” she says, “Cole use your Purrlit to make a fire” Brock says, “Good idea” Cole says pulling out a pokeball and Purrlit comes out, and Purrlit starts a little fire.
Meanwhile Team Rocket are still in their balloon while the storm is going on, the wind is blowing strong and the rain is falling heavy, “I think we should land” James says, “Oh I love it when it rains” Jesse says, “Jess snap out of it!” Meowth says, just then a lightning bolt strikes their balloon zapping all of them, “Ouch” they all says, just then the balloon is struck again, this time causing a hole in the balloon, sending them crashing to the ground, Team Rocket fall out of the balloons basket, “That’s one way of landing” Meowth says all fuzzed up lying on James’ head, “I feel tingly!” Jesse says with her hair in an Afro and Lophug sitting on top, “Argh…” James says with Wobbuffet on his back.
The group are still in the cave, “I’m bored!” Cole says, “This cave goes on, why don’t we take a look around” Brock says, “Yeah why not!” Ash says, “Would you like to come Electra?” Ella asks, “Why not, it could be fun,” she says, they all get up and start walking into the cave with Purrlit walking ahead to light the way.
Along the way they see all sorts of Pokemon, Zubat, Golbat and Crobat flying around the top of the cave and hanging upside down, Geodude and Graveler digging holes in the ground, and Sableye crawling along the walls of the cave, “Wow look at all the pokemon” Ella says, “Yes, Thundrome Pass has many different Pokemon, and there are a lot of Electric type pokemon here too” Electra says,
“HEY!” a voice shouts at the group, they all stop walking and see 2 strange men strange before them, in strange white and orange suit, “Who are you?” Ash says, “We’re members of Team Solar, so give me your Pikachu and Pachirisu!” one man says, “What!” the group shout, “Why would we do that!” Electra says,
“If you don’t give them, I’ll make you” the other man says, “Never!” Ash says, “Fine!” the Team Solar men say, “Go!” they both say throwing out 2 pokeballs each and out come 2 Solrock and 2 Nosepass,
“Pikachu!” Ash says, Pikachu jumps of his shoulder and onto the ground, “Herovor go!” Ash says throwing a pokeball, and Herovor comes out, “Pachirisu you too!” Electra says, “and you too Terraz!” she says throwing a pokeball out and out comes Terraz, “Go Solrock Flamethrower, Nosepass use Rock tomb!” The goons call out, Solrock fires a flamethrower attack at Pikachu and Herovor, and they dodge the attack, the Nosepass use Rock Tomb on Pachirisu and traps it inside, “Pachirisu!” Electra calls out, “Terraz use Steel Wing!” she shouts, Terraz swoops down onto the Nosepass with a Steel Wing attack and hits them both, “Good hit Terraz!” Electra says,
“Solrock take out that Terraz, Fire Blast!” one of the goons shout out, Solrock fires off a Fire blast attack at Terraz, the fire blast hits Terraz knocking it to the ground, “Terraz no!” Electra shouts,
Ash steps in and commands Pikachu and Herovor, “Pikachu Iron Tail, Herovor use Razor Leaf!” Pikachu uses Iron Tail on one of the Nosepass and knocks it out, Herovor knocks out the other Nosepass with Razor Leaf, The 2 goons return Nosepass to their Pokeballs, “Solrock Fire Blast!” a goon shouts, the Solrock both fire a Fire Blast attack at Pikachu and Herovor and they both get hit, Pikachu gets hurt and Herovor gets knocked out, “Oh no!” Ella says as Ash returns Herovor back into its pokeball and picks up Pikachu, “I’ll handle this!” Electra says to Ash, “Pachirisu use Quick Attack!” Pachirisu charges up at a Solrock and tackles it, “Terraz, Steel Wing again!” Electra calls out, Terraz wings start glowing and it swoops again at the Solrock, “Solrock Protect!” the Solrock put up a wall of green energy up and Terraz flies straight into it knocking itself to the ground, “Terraz!” Electra shouts in worry, Terraz struggles to get up as Electra runs over to it, all of a sudden Terraz starts glowing, “What’s going on!” the goons say, “I think Terraz is evolving!” Brock shouts, Terraz starts to grow and its wings grow larger, Terraz stops evolving and turns into a big dark grey and blue pokemon, “Wow, Terraz evolved into a Petrovolt!” Electra says, “A Petrovolt?” Cole says pulling out his Pokedex,
“Petrovolt, The Voltage Pokemon, Sometimes when it flies in the sky its wings act like a conductor and attracts lighting to it”
“Petrovolt, lets finish these guys off now!” Electra says, Petrovolt charges up, “Petrovolt Hyper Beam!” Electra shouts out, Petrovolt releases a giant blast of white light at Solrock hitting them directly and knocking them out, the 2 Team Solar goons looked scared and return their Solrock back into their Pokeballs, “You won’t get away with this!” they say, “Lets get out of here!” they say running away, “YAY!” the group cheer, “Wow Electra Petrovolt is so cool!” Cole says, “Thanks!” Electra replies, “Who were they again, Team Solar?” “I wonder why they wanted Pikachu and Pachirisu?” Ash says, “I dunno, but lets just be glad they are gone” Ella says, “Wow after that I’m tired!” Ash says yawning, “I think we should head back to the caves entrance” Brock says, “The storm might have passed”,
The group all go back the way they came.
Meanwhile Team Rocket are also in a cave, but in one much smaller and they are all crammed up, “I hate this” James says, “I’m with you on that one!” Jesse says, as Lophug hugs her face.
The group make it back to the caves entrance and see that it’s still raining and stormy outside,
”Well I guess we’ll be spending the night here” Electra says, “Anywhere is fine I’m just so tired!” Ash says yawning again and stretching his arms, the group all make up their sleeping bags and Purrlit makes a fire, and the group all camp around the fire in the center, time passes and the group are fast asleep as Cole snores away.
