Episode 31: Old School Rivals (Part 2)
“Staroon, The Shooting Star Pokemon, Staroon are said to come from outer space, often coming down to earth as a shooting star” “So that’s a Staroon” Ash says, “Staroon is also the Pre-evolved form of Solrock and Lunatone” Brock says, “Staroon evolve into either Solrock if you use a Sun Stone, or Lunatone if you use a Moon Stone”
“Lets go Staroon!” Rodney says, “Use Ancient Power!” Rodney calls out,
“Go Toron, you use Rollout!” Cole shouts, Staroon’s eyes glow and it creates bright balls of light that circle around it, Toron rolls up into a ball and zooms off towards Pruddy and Shellos, “Pruddy use Quick attack to dodge!” Ella calls out, Pruddy uses Quick attack and dodges Toron’s Rollout, but as it zooms by, Staroon releases its Ancient Power and it hits Pruddy, knocking it right out, “Oh no Pruddy!” Ella shouts, as Pruddy hits the ground,
“Shellos use Water Pulse on Staroon!” Trissy calls out, Shellos fires a blast of Water at Staroon, “Protect!” Rodney shouts and Staroon builds a wall of green energy around it and the Water Pulse smashes into it not causing any damage at all,
Ella returns Pruddy back to it’s Pokeball, “You did really good Pruddy” she says to it in the Pokeball, she tucks the pokeball away in her pocket and pulls out another Pokeball, “Lavenseed I choose you!” she shouts throwing the Pokeball, the ball hurdles through the air and out comes Lavenseed.
“Go Toron, Take Down!” Cole calls out, Toron charges up in a and tackles Lavenseed into the ground, “Oh no Lavenseed!!” Ella shouts, as Lavenseed is hit by Toron, it’s leafs start glowing red and the red glow then surrounds Toron, “What’s that!” Ella says astonished, “That looks like Absorb” Brock says “Absorb” Ella says, Lavenseed stops absorbing Toron and it falls to the ground, “Oh no, Absorb is a Grass type attack, and Toron is weak to Grass types” Rodney says to Cole, “Come on Toron get up” Cole says, Toron struggles, “Staroon protect Toron!” Rodney shouts out, Staroon hovers over to Toron and floats above it to protect it” Shellos and Lavenseed stand before them, “Now’s our chance Ella” Trissy says, “Shellos Mud Bomb!” Trissy calls out, “Lavenseed use Razor Leaf!” Ella shouts, Shellos fires big brown bubble of mud at them and Lavenseed swings it leafs on its head and purple razor leafs go flying right for them, “Oh no!” Cole says, Staroon and Toron get hit by the blast of Mud Bomb and Razor Leaf and knocks them both out
“The battle it over, Ella and Trissy win!” Brock says, Ella and Trissy jump into the air and the both shout, “We won!” Rodney and Cole walk over to Staroon and Toron and pick them up, “You did really, really great” they both say, “Good battle girls” Rodney says, “I don’t think I’ve ever been bet by a girl before”
Rodney says, “I have…” Cole mumbles to himself.
Ash and Brock along with their Pokemon head over to them and congratulate them on a good battle,
Just then mechanical hands reach down form the sky and grab all of their pokemon, “What’s going on!” Rodney shouts, they all look up to see Team Rocket in their hot air balloon with all of the groups Pokemon in a glass cage, “guys try and break out!” Ash shouts, the Pokemon try using attacks on the cage but nothing helps, “HAHAHAHA!” Team Rocket laugh, “You won’t be getting through this cage!” James says, “We thought ahead this time and made it Electric, Grass, Water and every other type proof” Meowth says, “and only this remote can get them out” he says, Jesse turns and slams Meowth on the head, “Why did you tell them that!” she says angry, “Oops, I don’t know why I said that” Meowth says with a big lump on his head, “Sneaking up on them didn’t work, so we’ll just come right out and take em!” James says,
“We have to get that remote!” Cole says, and they all nod, “I don’t think so!” Jesse says throwing 2 Pokeballs, “Seviper, Lophug go!” she says, the Pokeballs burst open and out come Seviper and Lophug, “Carnivine go!” James says throwing a pokeball and Carnivine comes out, ready to attack, but not before it hugs James and bites his face, “Bite them not me!” he says throwing it off him,
“You guys will have to battle them” Brock says, “All of my and Ash’s Pokemon are up there”,
“Okay we will!” Ella says, “Tweetot go!” she says throwing out a Pokeball and Tweetot appears,
Team Rocket laugh, “What’s that pipsqueak gonna do!” Jesse says still laughing,
“Quagsire go!” Cole says and Quagsire appears, “I choose you Gaslite!” Trissy says throwing a Pokeball and out comes a small blue fire looking Pokemon that floats in the air, “Gaslite?” Cole says pulling out his Pokedex,
“Gaslite, The Gas Flame Pokemon, Gaslite can become completely intangible, allowing it to pass through solid objects” the Pokedex says, “Cool a Gaslite” Cole says
“Go!” Rodney shouts as a throws a Pokeball and out comes a small blue and white Pokemon with a fin on its head, “Now what’s that?” Cole says,
“Finflix, the Fin Pokemon, Finflix use the fin on their head to smash through ice, it can even smash through rock”
“Wow cool Finflix!” he says,
“Now what were you saying?” Ella says sarcastically to Jesse “why you!” Jesse says angry,
“Seviper, Poison Tail, Lophug Double Slap!” she shouts Seviper and Lophug charge up to the group,
“Carnivine Vine Whip!” James calls out, and it charges with its Vine whip
“Gaslite use Will-O-Wisp!” Trissy shouts, “Finflix use Water Gun!” Rodney shouts, “Quagsire use Mud Shot!” Cole shouts, “Tweetot use Chatter!” Ella shouts, all of the Pokemon charge with their attacks,
Gaslite creates blue balls of fire around it and blasts them at Seviper, Lophug and Carnivine, Finflix fires off a Water Gun at them, Quagsire blasts its Mud Shot and Tweetot blasts its Chatter causing sound waves, all of the attacks combine and hit Seviper, Lophug and Carnivine blasting them into Team Rockets basket, knocking the remote to the ground causing it break into pieces, the bottom of the cage opens up and all of the Pokemon fall out, Mawclaw swoops down and catches Pikachu and Salatad on its back and Moonky uses Psychic to float Sudowoodo, Herovor, Shellos, Toron and it’s self to the ground and Staroon catches Lavenseed on its back as it floats down to the ground, all of the trainer hug their Pokemon, “Right guys!” Ash says, all of the Pokemon conger up attacks,
Pikachu uses Thunderbolt,
Mawclaw uses Diamond Darts,
Herovor uses Razor Leaf,
Salatad uses Water Gun,
Lavenseed uses Bullet Seed,
Tweetot uses Chatter,
Quagsire uses Water Gun,
Sudowoodo uses Rock Throw,
Moonky uses Psychic,
Finflix uses Ice Beam,
Staroon uses Ancient Power,
Shellos uses Water Pulse,
And Gaslite uses Flamethrower
All of the attacks combine with each other like before and the it forms into a giant white blast of light, Team Rocket look on, tangled up in their Pokemon, “Uh-Oh…” the all mumble, the giant attack hits the balloon causing a massive explosion, blowing up the balloon and sending Team Rocket blasting off,
“That was…” James mumbles as Carnivine hugs him, “Sore” Meowth says, “Looks like Team Rockets blasting off again!” they all say as they disappear into the sky with a twinkle of light.
“Who were they?” Rodney asks the group, “Oh, that was just Team Rocket,” Ella says, “They aren’t that much of a bother” Cole says and they all laugh.
The sun is setting in the sky and the group is ready to leave,
“So Lushus Town” Trissy says, “Yep, where are you 2 going?” Ash asks,
“Well I’m off to Goldune City to battle the gym leader there” Rodney says,
“I’m also heading there to find the next contest” Trissy says “I may stay there for a while too, the trek through Goldune Desert will be hard, so I’ll probably take a break,”
“Maybe we will see you there!” Ella says, “Maybe!” Trissy says.
