Mixing The Old With The New
Carrying on from last weeks story, Ella and Trissy decide to have a battle.
Ash, Cole and Pikachu watch from the sideline as Ella and Trissy stand opposite one another.
“Our first battle with each other” says Trissy, “Yeah, and I’m gonna win” says Ella,
Ella pulls out a pokeball and throws it and out comes Pruddy,
Trissy pulls a pokeball out of her bag and throws it, and out comes Eevee.
“An Eevee huh…” Cole says pulling out his Pokedex,
Eevee, the evolution pokemon, Eevee can evolve into many types depending on it’s surroundings.
“Nice Eevee” Ella says, “Thanks and your Pruddy looks good too!” Trissy says, “But lets get to the battle”
Trissy tells Eevee to use Quick attack, Eevee speeds up and hits Pruddy, Pruddy gets back up, “Pruddy use Psybeam!” Ella calls out, Pruddy uses Psybeam hitting Eevee, Eevee is stuck inside the Psybeam, Trissy tells Eevee to use shadow ball, Eevee uses Shadow ball in Pruddy’s Psybeam causing an explosion, Eevee and Pruddy are sent flying, after the smoke clears Eevee and Pruddy are still standing but only just, Trissy tells Eevee to use Swift, Eevee uses swift hitting Pruddy, causing it to faint, Trissy wins.
Ella walks over to Pruddy and picks it up giving it a pat on the head and telling it, it did a good job, Ella returns it to it’s pokeball.
“That was a good battle” Trissy says, “And I can tell that you received Pruddy from Stella” she says, “Yes I did, and I guess you got Eevee from Evelyn” Ella says, Cole and Ash don’t know who Stella and Evelyn are and Ash asks, “Well Stella is my sister, and Evelyn is Trissy’s” Ella says, “And they are both top type coordinators” Trissy says, “What’s that” says Cole, Trissy explains, (Top type coordinators are like gym leaders, in order to get a ribbon you have to compete in the appeal round and past that, then compete in the battle round, and then the top 3 get to face the top type coordinator, and only if you defeat them you get a ribbon.)
So Ella and Trissy want to follow in their sister’s footsteps.
In the bushes Team Rocket are watching them, Jesse says to her self
“Type contests aye…that’s it I’m gonna enter in the type contest and win!” James and Meowth look at each other and sigh.
At a restaurant, Cole and Ella eat lunch with Trissy, and Ella and Trissy talk about type contest some more, Just then a familiar face walks in, it’s Brock!
“Brock!” Ash says running over to him, “You finally made it here!” Ash says holding Pikachu, “Pika!” Brock says hi and pats Pikachu on the head, “Sorry for being so late, I just had to sort some stuff out back home” he says, Ash introduces Brock to Cole, Ella and Trissy, Ash tells them that Brock has travelled along side him through many regions, and that he was the gym leader of Pewter city in Kanto, Cole immediately interrupts Ash, “What you were a gym leader!” he says with excitement, “Yeah I used to, but now my brother Forest is”,
“Wow that’s so cool!” Cole says with a big grin on his face, “So Brock who did you bring along with you?” Ash asks, Brock pulls out a pokeball and out comes Sudowoodo,
“Ah Sudowoodo, good to see you again!” Ash says as Pikachu jumps down and grabs Sudowoodo’s arms and starts dancing, Brock sits down and asks Cole why he is asking all these questions, Cole tells Brock how he wants to be a gym leader and how he is entering in the gym contests, Ash says that they should head back to the Pokemon center to rest for the night, they all agree and leave for the Pokemon center for the night.
The next day the group are outside feeding their pokemon, a group of Cheepip fly down and start pecking on the ground, “What pokemon is that?” Ash says pulling out his Pokedex,
“Cheepip, the chirping pokemon, Cheepip’s tail resembles a leaf allowing it to hide in trees away from threats”
The group smile as they watch the Cheepip peck the ground for food, Trissy walks up to them and places some Pokefood on the ground, the Cheepip smile and start eating the food.
Just then a net flies down onto the groups Pokemon catching them inside and pulling them up, “HAHAHAHA…” a laugh is heard,
The group look up to see Team Rocket inside their balloon
“Prepare for trouble, and make it quadruple”
Here again we’re in your face
Bringing chaos to every place
Stealing your pokemon is what we do
And bringing trouble just for you
Jesse! James! Meowth’s the name, WOBBA!
We’re team rocket…” “Quit it!” Brock shouts, “don’t you know it’s getting old?” he says,
“Hey it’s that older twerp,” James says, “Ha, ha, ha or what” Jesse says,
Brock gets angry, Ash tells Pikachu to use Iron tail on the net to set them free, Pikachu uses Iron tail on the net but it doesn’t do anything, Meowth laughs “We’re not that stupid, this net is made by an unbreakable thread” Ash gets even more angry, Trissy asks the Cheepip if they can help set their Pokemon free, the Cheepip look at each other and agree, they all fly up and start pecking Team Rocket, Meowth drops the remote over the side, and Cole catches it, Cole presses the button setting the pokemon free, but they are falling, Ella tells Pruddy to use Psychic to stop them falling, Pruddy does and saves them but Paracaw is still falling, Ash tells Paracaw to fly, but Paracaw freezes again, so Ash runs over and dives catching Paracaw in his arms,
Team Rocket get angry and send out their pokemon, Yanmega and Carnivine, Jesse tells Yanmega to use Steel Wing, Yanmega heads straight for Cole but Purrlit jumps in and uses Iron tail sending Yanmega flying back into Jesse and James, James tells Carnivine to use Bullet seed, Carnivine uses Bullet seed and Trissy tells Eevee to use Shadow ball, the shadow ball hits the bullet seed stopping it, Brock tells Sudowoodo to use Rock throw to pop the balloon, Sudowoodo picks up a rock and throws it straight at the balloon popping it, the balloon and Team Rocket come crashing to the ground, Ash then tells Pikachu to use thunder bolt to send them flying, Pikachu charges up and strikes Team Rocket blowing them up and sends them blasting off again.
Everybody hugs their pokemon for doing so good, Trissy thanks the Cheepip and they smile and fly away, except one, it stays Trissy looks at it and it looks back, Trissy asks if I wants to stay with her, it smiles and nods, Trissy smiles back, she pulls out a pokeball and let in inside, the pokeball rocks a little and stops, Trissy catches Cheepip!
“Congratulations on the capture Trissy!” everybody says, Trissy thanks them, and says that she better be going now and tells Ella that she’ll see her in the contests, “Nice to meet you all” she says and walks away, the group wave her goodbye.
Cole asks Brock if he is going to travel with them, and he says “of course!” and the group head back to the pokemon center to heal up.
Later that day the group say goodbye to Nurse Joy and thank her, Nurse Joy tells them that they should go to Mossy forest since it’s on the way to Serpintine City, they agree and head towards Mossy Forest waving goodbye!
