Queen Of The Poisonous Kind!
On their way to Serpintine City, the group has finally made their way to Mossy Forest.
The group enters the forest and makes their way through.
Along the way the come to a clearing in the forest, and it turns out to be a picnic area, so Brock suggests they stop for a break, and they all agree.
Ash lets out Paracaw, Brock lets out Sudowoodo, Ella lets out Pruddy and Cole lets out Purrlit, they group set up the table while the Pokemon play, Ash walks over to Paracaw and tries to convince it that flying isn’t scary, but Paracaw refuses to listen, and Ash doesn’t know what to do.
Just then a girl with big Purple hair walks out of the bushes with a Roselia, everybody stops and say hi to her, she says hi back, Brock rushes over to her and grabs her hands, and he has hearts in his eyes, “Where have you been all my life” he says to her, she looks at him confused and so does Ella and Cole, “Ahh…what’s he doing?” Ella asks, Ash smiles and says “that’s just Brock being…ah Brock” Ella goes over and pulls his ear dragging him away from her, Ash apologizes for Brock and then introduces himself and Pikachu, Ella and Cole introduce themselves too, She smiles and introduces herself as Donna, they all say hi, Ella comments on her Roselia, and Cole pulls out his Pokedex.
Roselia, the rose Pokemon, Roselia have beautiful flowers at the end of each arm, but are riddled with toxic thorns.
“Umm I was wondering, have you seen any Poison type Pokemon around?” Donna asks, the group look at each other and say no, Cole asks why, she says,
“Because I’m the new gym leader of Serpintine gym, and it’s a Poison type gym, and I’m in need of some more poison typed Pokemon” Ash with a big smile on his face “You’re the Serpintine City gym leader!” she looks at him and smiles, “I am now, my father just retired and handed me the honor of being the gym leader” she says, Ash clutches his fist, “I wanna battle!” he says, she looks confused, “Are you entering in the Rikoto league?” she asks, Ash nods and still wants to battle, but Donna declines saying “I can only battle at the gym sorry, and I don’t have enough Pokemon for an official match” Ash understands and suggests that they could help her find a poison type Pokemon, Donna says yes and thanks them.
In the bushes Team Rocket are listening in on them,
Jesse says “she doesn’t look like a strong gym leader” and Meowth says “Because she just became one” James thinks that she might already have strong Pokemon with her, and Jesse says that she wants that Roselia, so she can use it in a type contest, so they plan to steal Donna’s Pokemon and also steal Pikachu!
Ash, Brock, Cole, Ella and Donna walk through the forest looking for a poison type Pokemon, when they come across a wild Nidorina, “Hey that Nidorina is a Poison type” Brock says,
“Then I’ll catch it” Donna says, Donna tells Roselia to use Energy ball on it, Roselia powers up and hits Nidorina, Nidorina is effected so much and uses a tackle on Roselia, Roselia falls to the ground and as Roselia goes to get back up Nidorina runs away, Donna misses the capture.
The group keep going on through the forest and come across 2 people dressed in lab coats standing in front of a weird machine, they greet the group and tell them that they are scientist who have figured out a way to make Pokemon stronger, the group don’t believe them, but the woman says “it’s true, just try it”, Ash looks at Pikachu and asks if it wants to try, Pikachu nods, the woman says that the machine can take 2 Pokemon at a time, so Donna says Roselia should try it, Pikachu and Roselia go into the machine and the doors close, the machine rumbles around and makes all different sounds and stops, the door falls off, and it turns out to be a fake door made of cardboard, the group see Pikachu and Roselia in a cage, the group ask what’s really going on, the man and woman say “We gotta go now!” and pick up the cage and run away, “Pikachu!” Ash shouts, “Roselia” Donna shouts too, the group chase after them, and almost catch up to them when they fall down a trap hole.
“HA, HA, HA, HA” the man and woman laugh, the group look up to see the man and woman standing above them, “Hole in the ground, it never gets old” the woman says,
“Who are you, give us our Pokemon back!” Ella shouts,
The man and woman pull off their disguises and its Team Rocket!
Jesse laughs again, Donna shouts, “Let them go” as Pikachu and Roselia call out,
Jesse laughs again, “Meowth lets go!” she shouts to Meowth and Wobbuffet who are in the air balloon, Team Rocket run off to the balloon,
“How are we going to get out?” Ella asks, Donna pulls out a Pokeball and throws it out of the hole, and out comes a Seviper, Donna tells Seviper to help them out, Seviper nods and uses it’s tail to pull them out of the hole,
Just as Team Rocket lift off the group all make it out of the hole, Donna tells Seviper to stop them, Seviper jumps at the balloon and tries to pull it back down, but the balloon is too strong and Donna runs up to Seviper and grabs it’s tail, as the group hold onto Donna trying to help, Jesse gets annoyed and throws out a pokeball, Seviper comes out, Jesse tells her Seviper to get them off the balloon with Poison Tail, Jesse’s Seviper charges with the attack, but Purrlit comes out of it’s pokeball and uses Iron Tail to stop Seviper, the rest of the group get the rest of the Pokemon out of their pokeballs to help, Sudowoodo, Paracaw and Pruddy, the group and the Pokemon all pull the balloon trying to get it back to the ground while Purrlit and Seviper fight, they pull and pull but it’s no use, Ella then has an idea and tells Pruddy to use a combination of Psychic and Swift, Pruddy does so and it hits the balloon making a hole in it, causing it to fall, Team Rocket come flying out but are quickly to their feet to battle, after the dust settles, James lets out Solshrub, and Jesse throws out Yanmega, Ash tells Paracaw to use Quick Attack on Solshrub, and Paracaw does so, but Solshrub uses Protect, knocking Paracaw back, Jesse tells Seviper to use Bite, And Donna tells her Seviper to use Poison Tail, and the 2 Seviper go head to head in battle, as they fight Ella and Cole sneak away to get Pikachu and Roselia back, While Brock, Donna and Ash battle Team Rocket, Ella and Cole reach Pikachu and Roselia and let them out of the cages without Team Rocket noticing, and they sneak them back, Solshrub uses Vine Whip, but Paracaw dodges it and uses Wing Attack knocking Solshrub into James, Brock tells Sudowoodo to use Focus Punch, Sudowoodo uses Focus Punch on Yanmega knocking it into Jesse, Donna tells her Seviper to send Jesse’s Seviper packing with a Poison Tail and it does so sending Seviper flying into Team Rocket, Team Rocket realize that they aren’t going to win and decide to quickly get away with Pikachu and Roselia while they can, they get up and pick up the cages, only to see that there empty!, they turn around to see Ash standing with Pikachu and Donna standing with Roselia, “But how!” James says, Ash tells Pikachu to use Thunder and Donna tells Roselia to use Energy Ball, they both do so and it combines into a powerful attack, hitting Team Rocket sending them blasting off.
The group and Donna head off to find a Poison type Pokemon for Donna to use in her gym battles, Ella comments on how strong her Seviper is, and Ash comments on how she is going to be hard to beat in their gym battle to come, Donna blushes and thanks them, just then in front of them a Pokemon comes walking out of the bushes, “What’s that?” Ash asks pulling out his Pokedex,
‘Spidox, the spider Pokemon, a bite from a Spidox can cause even the strongest Pokemon to become paralyzed in seconds’
Donna looks at Roselia and nods, Roselia walks up to Spidox and get ready to battle, Donna calls out to Spidox and says she wants to battle, Spidox looks at her and agrees to fight,
Donna tells Roselia to use Energy Ball, Roselia powers up and throws the energy ball at Spidox, but Spidox jumps up and dodges it, Spidox then uses Poison Sting, Donna tells Roselia to use Razor Leaf to stop it, Roselia throws out razor leafs stopping the Poison Sting and also hitting Spidox, Donna then tells Roselia to use Petal Dance, Roselia releases a beautiful waves of Petals hitting Spidox, sending it to the ground, Donna pulls out a Pokeball and throws it, the pokeball hits Spidox sucking it into the Pokeball, the Pokeball rocks back and forth and back and forth, and then stops, Donna has caught Spidox!
“Congratulations Donna!” Ella says, “How good battle Cole says”, Donna picks up the Pokeball and thanks Roselia.
As the sun goes down Donna is heading back to the gym to start training her newly caught Spidox, and to get ready for her and Ash’s gym battle, “Thanks for everything” she says to them, they all smile, then Brock gets on 1 knee and holds her hand,
“Until we meet again my love, my heart will linger for you…” he says and Donna blushes,
“That’s enough out of you” Ella says pulling his ear back,
“I’ll see you in Serpintine City Donna, for our gym battle” Ash says quenching his fist,
“Yes Ash I’ll see you there” she says, the group wave to her as she walks off into the sunset.

Donna is a first time gym leader, not actually having battled in an official gym battle yet, her father (Vinny) now retired handing the gym down to her.
